Overlay Face Frame Style Cabinets:

Face frame cabinets are a traditional style with spacing between doors that reveals the solid wood face frame. Doors can overlay the frames by ½” on all edges exposing more of the face frame. Doors can also overlay the frame more if desired, exposing less of the face frame (partial overlay).

Box parts are constructed from hardwood plywood, MDF or melamine. The face frame on the upper cabinets offers a “built in” light rail to conceal under counter light fixtures.

Full Overlay Euro Style Cabinets:

Euro style cabinets are modular. They do not have a face frame and their doors have minimum reveals between each other. Doors are fully overlaid on the cabinet boxes and are mounted with fully concealed blum hinges.

Box parts are constructed from hardwood plywood, MDF or melamine. Cabinets/ends that butt against walls have a 1 ½” filler to allow for irregularities in wall framing & texture. Light rails to conceal under counter light fixtures are always used behind the upper doors.

Inset Face Frame Style Cabinets:

Inset cabinets have doors in the same plane as the face frame, to reveal the full face frame. The doors & drawer fronts fit into the frame openings and require strict tolerances so all the reveals match.

Box parts are constructed from hardwood plywood, MDF or melamine. Doors require hinges that are designed specifically for inset cabinets. The face frame on the upper cabinets offers a “built” in light rail to conceal under counter light fixtures.

Inset Face Frame With Bead Style Cabinets:

Inset bead cabinets are just like regular inset cabinets, with the only difference being they include a ¼” bead detail around all inside openings of the face frames. This bead molding gives the inset look a more detailed look.
